Temperament Evaluation

• An evaluation of each dog will be done to ensure that all dogs have a friendly disposition and do not display any resource guarding (toys or food) or aggressive behaviors.

Vaccinations

• All dogs must be at least 4 months old and current on the following vaccinations: Rabies, DHPPV, and Bordetella.
• Proof of vaccinations is required.

Flea & Tick Control

• All dogs must be on a topical flea and tick preventative such as Frontline or K-9 Advantage.
• Flea & tick collars are not acceptable.

Pennsylvania Dog License

• All dogs must have a current PA Dog License which is required by the State of PA.
• PA Dog Licenses are issued per calendar year, or as a lifetime license for those dogs that have been
  micro-chipped or tattooed.
• If you do not have a current PA license, we can provide you with the required form to be mailed to the Chester County Treasurer's office. We would also be happy to handle the application process as a next day service for a nominal fee.
